Insulated Glass Units (IGUs): IGUs consist of two or more glass panes separated by a spacer, filled with air or inert gas and sealed around the edges.

R-Value of Glass: This measures the thermal resistance of the entire window system, including glass, spacer, and joinery type. Higher R-values indicate less heat loss through the system, enhancing insulation.
